A Top LA Fashion Designer Prepares for the Runway
Los Angeles Fashion Week is rapidly approaching and we thought it would be fun to show you some of the work that goes into preparing for a fashion runway show.
We hooked up with the exclusive fashion designer to the stars, Adolfo Sanchez and fashion photographer Mark Stout to document some of the intricate hand sewn work that goes into preparing just one gown through the steps to when it appears on the runway in the LA Fashion Week show on October 11th. Meanwhile we wanted to share some still photos of Adolfo and his staff working on the gown to be featured in the video presentation.
Adolfo Sanchez is no stranger to the fashion runway. He’s currently one of the hottest designers on the Los Angeles Fashion scene. His career began in 2006 and his creativity and eye for beauty have since resulted in his being featured in numerous magazines and landing several awards. These include receiving the excellence in fashion award from LA Fashion Week and the Emerging Designer of the Year award from Cinema Fashion Film Awards in 2017.
Each of his gowns are one of a kind creations and his client list reads like a who’s who in Hollywood. Among them are Fergie, Khloe Kardashian, Tyra Banks, Kylie Jenner, Brandi, Kesha, Kat Von D, Poppy, Niki Murphy, Lia Marie Johnson and Kat Graham… and that is just a few of them.
Though primarily a women’s high fashion designer, he/s been called upon to outfit a number of male celebrities. Among them are Alice Cooper, Joe Jonas, and Billy Corgan with Smashin Pumpkins.
Sanchez and his work are also appearing on The Look All Stars, a head to toe makeover series reaching up to 15 million viewers on CW. Everyone featured on The Look will be wearing designs by Adolfo Sanchez. Netflix has also brought Adolfo onto their upcoming show that will begin airing January 2020. Entitled Next In Fashion, Sanchez will compete with other designers facing fashion design challenges.
