If you are old enough to remember the television series, The Brady Bunch, and always dreamed of living in the house used in the series, now is your chance!
The Studio City “Brady Bunch” house is currently on the market with an asking price of about $1.9 million. There are some hitches though if you want to own it. In the short time it has been on the market hundreds of people have looked at it. It appears the house will go to the highest bidder, and you will be competing against some heavy hitting celebrities to get it.
Located at 11222 Dilling Street, the house is the second most photographed house in the nation… second only to the white house. The current owners, who bought the house in 1972 for – get this – $61,000 say 40 to 50 people a day come by to photograph the house. They didn’t seem to mind the attention much either.
We should note, only the exterior of the house was used in the series. The interior shots were all filed at Paramount Studios in a sound stage built to resemble the interior of the house. The house on the market has been kept in a condition very similar to that seen in the television series.
The realtors state they have narrowed the offers down to about 75 serious offers. They also are looking for a buyer that will preserve the house as the iconic American family house that it is.
