Freak Show: The Kinky, Weird, Incredible Show You Don’t Want to Miss

I have to be honest.  When I was first asked to review Freak Show I wasn’t expecting much.  Too often shows that specialize in dark comedy substitute the bizarre and macabre for talent and production values.

Not so with Freak Show.  The show is a hilarious, fascinating blend of the the kinky, the dark, and the macabre with the finest talent and production values to be found.  It’s a 100% professional production.

Freak Show was the brain child of Tuesday Thomas and Cyrus Naderpour five years ago. It’s since grown into a production that performing to sold out audiences in LA, Vegas, SF and over 10 other cities.  The producers are so sharp at choosing top self talent that talent scouts from producers from America’s Got Talent, The Gong Show, and The Voice regularly attend shows.

The show we reviewed was held at the historic Globe Theatre on the Broadway Theatre District and it was a full house.  Performers included Panda the Sanguine, Guadalajara Joe, Ambrosia Minge, Jason Rouse, Jasmyn Carter, Christopher Wonder, Franklin Marshall III, Samantha Jane, and, of course, Tuesday and Cyrus. Rather than give a critique of each performer, we suggest you watch the video above that has a short clip of each performer in it.

Overall we would say that if you want to elevate your entertainment activities out of the humdrum and predictable, then you need to make it a point to go to Freak Show when they are performing near you.  A schedule of shows and tickets are available on the Freak Show Website.
