Inside the Snow White Cafe

We did a post a while back on the Snow White Cafe on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but we only had photos of the exterior.  Now we are going to show you why you actually want to go in the cafe.

The decor of the Snow White Cafe is exactly what you would expect.  It looks like you have entered a large version of the 7 dwarfs cottages.

The Snow White Cafe is a Restaurant, Lounge and Bar which opened it’s doors in 1946.  It’s been a favorite of the local creatives and for tourists ever since. It’s decorated top to bottom with murals paying tribute to the animated Disney classic, Snow White & The Seven Dwarves. It is said that the murals were a gift from a group of Disney animators who used to eat breakfast there each day before heading to work  at the Disney Studios.

Stopping in at the Snow White Cafe should be on your list of things to do in Hollywood if for no other reason than to look at the beautiful illustrations from the Snow White classic.  It also has a well rounded food menu with breakfasts, salads, appetizers, pizza, pastas and entrees.  The pricing is about the most reasonable you will find on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Trust us on this one.  While the Snow White Cafe sits right next to the Hollywood Wax Museum at 6769 Hollywood Blvd, it is one of the more overlooked tourist attractions on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Yet it’s the one thing you will never forget if you go.

Oh, and if you are a lover of all things Snow White, you might also want to drive on over to Los Feliz and check out the Snow White Cottages.
