LA Celebrities: Clayton Kershaw

Totally LA is not a celebrity tabloid or a gossip magazine, but we do find ourselves at a large number of red carpet events for various reasons and thought it might be nice of us to share the images and events with you.

This first post features Clayton Kershaw is a professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers during an event called Kershaw’s Challenge.  It was a star studded event held at Dodger’s Stadium (naturally) last July where celebrities joined together for a unique fund raising event called Ping Pong 4 Purpose.

As the Kershaw’s Challenge website states:

“Kershaw’s Challenge is a Christ-centered, others-focused organization. We exist to encourage people to use whatever God-given passion or talent they have to make a difference and give back to people in need. We want to empower people to use their spheres of influence to positively impact communities and to expand God’s Kingdom. We believe that God can transform at-risk children and neighborhoods through the benevolence and impact of others.”

We always love to see celebrities gathered together behind worthwhile causes, so we will be doing more posts featuring some of the celebrities that joined together at Dodger’s Stadium to help mankind.
