LA Celebrities: Susan Sarandon

These are some photos I took of actress Susan Sarandon, who can always be counted on to show her support for a good cause, at Dodger’s Stadium last summer for Kershaw’s Challenge, Ping Pong 4 a Cause.

Susan needs no introduction.  She began her career in the 1970 film Joe and has been going non-stop since, winning countless awards such as the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for The Client, and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress for Dead Man Walking.  She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for Atlantic City, Thelma & Louise), Lorenzo’s Oil , and The Client, before winning for Dead Man Walking in 1995.

Sarandon is also known for her social and political activism for a variety of causes. She was appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 1999 and received the Action Against Hunger Humanitarian Award in 2006.
