LA Tourist Attractions: Marina Del Rey

Marina Del Rey

Marina Del Rey is a small unincorporated town surrounding the marina after which it is named.  It’s one of the top tourist attractions in Los Angeles and has a considerably different vibe than the Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach Boardwalk or the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  See our video of the beauty of Marina Del Rey at the bottom of this post!

It’s quite, peaceful, relaxing and feels much less crowded than the tourist attractions mentioned above.  With its close proximity to LAX and other major tourist attractions in Los Angeles, it is the perfect place to stay when visiting Los Angeles.  Enjoy a stunning view from your hotel window before heading to a waterfront cafe for breakfast while deciding which of the many things to do – parasailing, fishing, bicycling, taking sailing lessons, shopping, etc – for the day.
