LA Tourist Attractions: Warner Brothers Studios

A favorite Los Angeles tourist attraction is the Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank. The movie studio offers several different tours depending on the type of movie you gravitate toward.

The Basic Studio Tour explores Hollywood past and present television and movie magic. If you love the classics, there is the Classics Tour that will explore the iconic star of the old classic movies. Or if you can’t decide and want to see as much movie making magic as you can, then take the Deluxe Tour. It is a five hour tour that gives you exclusive access to more sights and sound stages than any other LA studio tour.

Prices for the tours range from $65 per person on up to $295 for the Deluxe Tour. Tours are a combination of guided and self-guided. They also have an awesome collection of movie making videos you can watch showing how different things are done on the stages.

Other nearby cool things to do in Los Angeles include going to the Griffith Observatory or heading down to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. While you are there you can shop at the Hollywood Highland Mall (which also offers one of the coolest views of the Hollywood Sign), See the handprints of the stars at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and so much more! You might also want to check out one of the first theatres owned by the Warner Brothers, the Warner Pacific Theatre. It was where they intended to release the first talking motion picture, although it did not get completed in time. The theater is now indefinitely closed due to structural damage, but it is worth checking it out to see Carol Burnette’s star that she had placed there to even the score with the theatre.

We also recommend the Smoke House Restaurant across Olive Street from the studios. Great food and atmosphere with lots of celebrities hanging out in it.
