The Good Greek Grill in Los Feliz
Nestled below the Los Feliz Theatre on Vermont Street is a place called the Good Greek Grill. It’s one of my favorite places to eat.
The staff is friendly and act like they are glad to see you.
I usually like to get the beef/lamb Gyros. They have an interesting way of serving it: with french fries inside the pita bread with the meat and fixings. It sounded less than appealing when I first heard it, but I decided to try it. It tastes great.
They also serve great Spanakopita on a bed of lettuce sprinkled with feta cheese crumbs. And the Baklava is delicious. If you order the
Greek Salad, be prepared to eat a large salad where they didn’t skimp on the feta cheese and Greek olives. And for a couple of bucks you can have a meat of your choice added.
One of their specialties is LA Street Fries. This is a large serving of fries topped with pork, grilled onions, jalapeño peppers and Aioli sauce.
While you are there you can take in a matinee at the Los Feliz Theatre. They have two locations. Los Feliz at 1820 N Vermont Ave, Los Angeles CA 90027 and Hollywood at 6363 Yucca St, Los Angeles CA 90028.
Edit: As of December 2107 the location on Vermont Avenue is closed. But as far as we know the one on Yucca Street is still open.
