Nine Great LA Restaurants for Mother’s Day Dinner 2019

Mother’s Day is just around the corner… this coming Sunday May 12th. Like many Angelenos, you’re probably wondering where to take mom for a delicious Mother’s Day brunch, lunch or dinner.

Here are nine great Los Angeles restaurants with Mother’s Day specials to help mom to celebrate her well earned special day. Oh, and a couple of bars too!  Note, where restaurants have multiple locations, only the locations mentioned in this post have the special.

1. The Coral Tree Cafe

All Coral Tree Café locations will be open for brunch with their expansive menu, including organic egg scrambles and omelettes, grains, paninis, French toasts, and pancakes, plus a few seasonal specials. Additionally, all three locations are offering penny mimosas (one per guest).

2. Baltaire

While brunch is always a treat at Baltaire with its decadent à la carte menu, the Brentwood hot spot will host a special buffet from 10am-4pm to celebrate all the remarkable mothers out there! Chef Travis Strickland will feature carving stations, a raw bar, brunch favorites, salads, desserts and more. And treat mom to something extra special with their new “Sparkling Mimosa” bar, complete with fresh juices, a bottle of sparkling wine, and, of course, a sparkler. The brunch buffet is $85 per adult and $45 per child. Reservations are recommended and can be made here.

3. H Cafe

H Café, Koreatown’s all-day dining option in the newly renovated H Hotel, will offer 2-for-1 mimosas on Mother’s Day (includes the traditional Mimosa, Strawberry Bellini, and Paloma Mimosa). The restaurant features classic comfort food from Chef Michael Reed, the perfect brunch spot to celebrate mom!

4. Madre

Madre, Torrance’s beloved Oaxacan restaurant will host a variety of entertainment on Mother’s Day including live music (11:30am-3:30pm & 5:30-9pm) and a photo booth (12-4pm). Madre will also offer $5 well 1oz shots!

5. Viviane

Viviane, the poolside gem at the Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills will host a grand buffet and Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar on Mother’s Day from 10am-3pm. The brunch buffet will run $65 per person and $30 for children under 12.

6. Comoncy

The colorful fast-casual favorite Comoncy Studio City will be open for brunch with their usual offerings, such as the Comoncy French Toast, Lox Plate, and Wake Me Up Panini, plus a few seasonal specials. They’ll also give away Comoncy-branded mugs to the first three moms.

7. Grand Central Market

Grand Central Market is a great spot for mom to choose from a variety of international options, including Thai, Mexican, and Mediterranean. Additionally, Roast To Go will offer a complimentary soft drink with purchase of combo plate when guests mention their Mother’s Day promo.

8. Brack Shop Tavern

For the moms who would rather spend Mother’s Day at a bar than at brunch, Brack Shop Tavern will offer bottomless rosé for $20.

9. Baldoria

Baldoria will offer complimentary bottomless mimosas or rosé for all mothers throughout brunch service Sunday. Baldornia’s decadent brunch menu is meant to be shared, making it the perfect place to bring mom.
