Named after Orpheus, the legendary Greek poet and musician said to be able to charm all things, living and stone, with his music, the historic Orpheus Theatre was opened in the Broadway Theatre District in February 1926.
While I was down in the Los Angeles Historic Core and Theatre District a month ago, this building caught my attention more than once. It can be seen from various vantage points all over downtown Los Angeles.
