The Bar Named After a Haircut: The Rusty Mullet Hollywood

Leave it to Hollywood to name a bar after a haircut, the Mullet.  The Mullet is a hairstyle in which the front is cut trim, however the back is long, and typically left wild and uncut.  The hairstyle has survived for decades, which is perhaps what gave them the idea to name it the Rusty Mullet.

I think somehow the name fits the bar well.  It implies a no BS kind of atmosphere (it has been described as early American Redneck due to the graffiti walls and tin roof) and that is what you get.  They offer wall to wall flat screen TVs, giant hamburgers and dozens of specialty shots.

If they are still offering the deal, you can buy one regular priced beer, and get another for $1 from 4pm-8pm, Mon-Fri and 10:30pm-12:30am, Sun-Thur.

If you’re on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and need a watering hole that isn’t so touristy, the Rusty Mullet is located at:
1708 N Las Palmas Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028
