The Peace Limo in Venice Beach

This psychedelic “peace limousine” that looks like a bad trip flashback to the seventies is most likely not for hire.

We saw the flashy tie-dyed limo causing Abbott Kinney Blvd in Venice.  According to the vanity license plates, it belongs to Sir Ivan…  who is Ivan L. Wilzig, a 59-year-old banker turned philanthropist and self-styled pop star who dresses up in sparkly capes and calls himself Peaceman.

From what I understand, he is based on the east coast and has been called the Hugh Hefner of the Hamptons.  We don’t know if he relocated to Venice for some warm air, or because he thought is colorful ride would blend in a bit better in the artsy town of Venice than in the Hamptons!
