Welcome to LA

I settled into a live work loft in Downtown LA (DTLA). Though my unit was suppose to come with parking in the building’s parking lot, they did not have a space available when I moved in.
Each morning I woke at 6:00 AM to rush down to the parking meters before the metered parking time started. About 6 days after I arrived, I overslept a few minutes.
That mistake cost me $63.00. i must say after being here two years, I feel the city deliberately keeps parking scarce here. The amount of money Los Angeles makes on parking violations is mind-boggling.
Welcome to LA!
